LOA Today!

I got a call from our agency today. It is here LOA....LOA for Christmas. We are very excited. My agency also let us know that one of the families in our travel group is also adopting from the same orphanage. So we are excited to have another family with us. Know lets pray for TA.....
I really need to get moving on getting things together for China....I am so excited.

I usually post every few weeks, BUT OK!!! I am getting very impatient....I want my LOA!

Praying For LOA!!!

Well we have had a lot of good news about Khloei. But the CCAA seems to be moving slowly on our LOA..... I don't understand the wait. We have had LOA for our first referral and the CCAA picked us for her family. So why the wait. The longer it takes, the closer we get to having to redo some of our documents.YUK!!!! We are praying that we get LOA before Christmas......We are very excited and after all that has happened we are ready to just hold her in our arms. Praying that the CCAA moves quickly on LOA and TA.

Update from Cardiologist!

Today I received an email from the cardiologist. It was a very good report. It is so nice to finally be getting good news. This adoption journey has had it's ups and downs. I am glad we are on the upside. God has answered many of my prayers. Even during my times of questioning? God has answered. The email I received today was a direct answer from God. He is so GOOD! We are praying for the CCAA to move more quickly on our paper work. We are praying that we can be with her on her birthday. It is January 16th. Our daughter will be 2yrs old. Our little Khloei. I will be ordering an update of photo's and measurements, and sending her a care package tomorrow. I am looking forward to seeing how she has grown. Please pray for our documents to move quickly.

We received PA

Well the journey has been long. And very difficult. We applied for our daughter in late Oct. We waited till December for PA ( pre-approval). For an I600 family that is a long wait. Our first referral only took 7days. We found out from our agency that another family had also applied for her. It was the family that sponsored her heart surgery in China. We are very sad for this family, and very grateful that they sponsored our daughter. Though we are over joyed that the CCAA chose us to be her forever family. We will be adding her photo soon. our agency thinks we should be traveling soon.....January. She will be 2 in January, so we are praying we can be with her for her birthday. Soon I will be starting a travel blog. I will post the link here when it is ready.

No news yet, But plenty to be Thankful for!!!

I have not post recently, We received a referral for a beautiful little girl on Oct 23rd. She has had heart surgery in China and still may need more heart surgery. We have spent the last few weeks praying and asking God to show us his path for this little girl. It seems that the doors keep opening. I am very reserved, but falling in love with her more each day. We are waiting for additional updated information and are keeping ourselves back until we know. But she is beautiful. Her Chinese name is Xie Fei. Her birth date is 1-16-08. She will be 2 in January.

List is coming out soon

Well the new SN list is coming out this week. So we are praying to get a match. I am nervous and excited about this list. A little afraid we won't be matched on this one. But I know God has a plan to bring Khloei home. So I need to trust that.....Just being praying that we get matched soon.....

No News

We are still waiting some news on Khloei. This wait seems longer than before. It has only been a few weeks, but it seems like forever. The CCAA said they would give us a private match, but we haven't heard anything yet. If we don't hear something soon our agency will try and match us on the Oct special needs list. It should come out around Oct 17-21st. We are praying that something comes about soon. We are so excited.....

Khloei Elizabeth Steen!!!!

Well it seems the spelling Kloei is the winner.. Though Don and I have compromised, I told Don I would do the K if we could use the H.... So I like Chloei. Don likes Kloei. We are planning on Khloei. We are praying to get our new referral soon, so we will have a face for our little Khloei Elizabeth. It seems like it is taking forever. Though it has only been 2.5 weeks. This hole waiting thing just seems to drag on on on on...........

Choosing A Name!

Well we really like the name Chloei Elizabeth. My husband likes it spelled Kloei, I like it spelled Chloei. So we will see. We have other names we like, but Chloei Elizabeth is the only one we agree on. We are very excited to be picking out a name, now the big wait. Waiting on getting matched. The CCAA told us they are going to give us a private match, with all that has accrued. We are very excited to see if they follow through. If not we will have to wait till the October list. It is due out around Oct 15th-23rd. So we have about 4 weeks to wait. Please pray that the CCAA comes through on what they have said.
